World Cup 1990 - Review PDF Print E-mail

ImageYears 90 arrives bringing modernity to all the parts of the country.  The technology advances with the arrival of the Age of Computer science, and also behind to the country, a new form to think about the soccer, the call `soccer of results`.

This game was a big failure, besides playing a ugly soccer, the game was eliminated in eighth of end for its rival greater, Argentina (1x0, in the eighth-of-end).

Of this Cup, almost nothing seems to have been in the memory of the supporting, almost becoming the ‘Cup that nobody saw’, as in 1954 (first Cup after the defeat in house).  One of the exceptions that were is the expression ‘It was Dunga’ (mentioning to the projection, that was the ‘face’ of the team, and that it raised the goblet in the following Cup).

The following years to the this Cup, would be some of bigger success between the Brazilian clubs, coming back to present pretty soccer and at the same time, winner, what it would be reflected in the next Cup.
